Visit Eagles Ridge during the spring as “Mother Nature” awakes from a winter’s sleep and the dogwoods, mountain laurel revel their pastel colors. Summer is a great time to visit Eagles Ridge as the cool mountain breezes add to your relaxed afternoon on the porch after a day of white water rafting, hiking or horseback riding.
The mountains of Eagles Ridge really put on a display of gold, orange and red in the fall as they ready themselves for winter. Also, in the fall visit many of the mountain festivals in the area where you can experience mountain music, local crafts, art and homemade goods only found here in the mountains. Visit the apple house for that special southern dessert, a “fried pie” and while you are there pick up a bag of apples along with a few jars or jams and jellies. Take home some apple cider to enjoy later.
Eagles Ridge is a three level cabin. The main level has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, living room and dining room and bathroom. This cabin has a washer and dryer in the laundry room. The living room has a wonderful rock, gas log fireplace. Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with family and friends as you gather around the fireplace in the fall or winter. There’s a bedroom and full bathroom on each level of the cabin. Eagles Ridge is decorated with that cozy, “come back and visit” feeling that will have you returning soon!
Take a stroll downtown to the quaint little town of Blue Ridge and enjoy the countless shops where that special item is just waiting for you to pick up and take home. No matter when you visit the North Georgia Mountains you will always be amazed at how beautiful the area is and how much “back to nature” activities there are from hiking, horse backing riding, white water rafting or just kicking back for a relaxed time away from everyday life.
